How to Order
Lambs are grown for 4 to 5 months to a size of
80+ lbs. and are custom butchered at a New York State inspected
facility. The meat is then cut to the customers’ specifications,
vacuum wrapped, labeled and frozen. I sell whole lambs (about 40
lbs. hanging weight and 30+ lbs processed) and halves (about 20
lbs. hanging weight and 15+ lbs. processed). Sheep are at a minimum
50 lbs. hanging weight. Orders can be picked up from the farm or
can be delivered if the customer lives in close proximity. Sorry,
we do not ship.
I do custom butchering only and have no inventory
to choose from. You can order by phone or by e-mail. For prices
please check the price list. Sorry, we don’t take credit cards.
In case you wonder if you have room in the freezer for a whole lamb:
one and a half lambs tend to fit in the freezer compartment above
a standard-sized refrigerator. That’s how nicely you can stack
it away. The vacuum wrap will allow you to store it for well over
a year……but I guarantee you that you will run out of
this delicious lamb well before that.
